DigiWave Digital Listening

The new Digi-Wave™ (digital spread spectrum—DSS) is a simultaneous, one- or two-way listening system in the 2.4 GHz band. Slim, lightweight, and simple to set up and use. With the push of a button, users can access 2-way communication. The Digi-Wave plays a key role in enhancing communication between participants in classrooms, at meetings, listening to TV, listening in the car, and other one-to-one or small-group situations.

The patented frequency-hopping technology minimizes interference from other devices, and allows up to four groups to use the equipment, in either 1-way or 2-way mode, simultaneously within a 200 foot range. The devices operate on 4 channels simultaneously in 2-way mode and up to 15 channels in 1-way mode. The range of communication is 100 feet outdoors and up to 200 feet indoors (depending on environmental conditions).

The system uses:

Portable DLT-100 Transceivers

• Both send and receive sound for 1-way or 2-way operation.

• Two DLT-100 users can speak to and hear each other simultaneously. In a group situation, they can both speak to any number of people who are using the DLT-100 or DLR-50 receivers. Others in the group using the DLT-100s can push a button to talk and everyone in the group can hear them.

• Built-in microphone and speaker in the unit to enable the users to talk and hear without any accessories.

• 3.5mm microphone input to accommodate an external mic such as a lapel or headset mic.

• Can also be connected directly to an audio source such as an iPod, TV, or radio (cables not included).

• 3.5mm mono headset jack provides access for headphones, earphones or a neckloop (all sold separately).

• Uses an internal rechargeable battery that gets up to 14 hours of use per charge.

• LCD display shows signal strength, battery level, mode, time, talk and priority status.

• Two year warranty.

Portable DLR-50 Receivers

• For digital 1-way listening only applications.
• People using the DLR-50 can only receive the transmission from the DLT-100s, but cannot talk.
• 3.5mm audio output jack earphone, headset or neckloop (sold separately).
• Operates on 2 AAA alkaline batteries; 24 hours battery life.
• Two year warranty.
